Used the skunk ape full camber to train for and pass my CASI level 4 instructor certification. The best performance in the lineup for technical snowboarding in my own opinion. For performance / play, go for the dynamo! For powder, the orca is unbeatable.
Rode this board on a demo day and loved it. I'll definitely be picking one up. I'm 6'3" 200lbs. and I rode the 163w. It turned great and felt super light on my feet. It jumps/ollie's very well. I was able to get quite a bit higher with the same input as my hometown hero and mega merc. Big fan of Lib Tech boards.
This board has special sauce inside. Stable powerful and smooth but it bends easier than makes sense. Rides and carves switch extremely well. No boot drag Swiss Army knife for big guys. Stiff boots and mid flex bindings bring it to life
Finally retired my only board bought a LONG time ago. Why did I wait so long? This Skunk Ape Camber 170UW is amazing! May not even need to be posi posi - although I prefer that stance. So fast, so smooth, carves through everything here in the Northeast. Do yourself a favor and buy one! You won't be disappointed...
Scooped a 170UW on the early release. With 30 days on it. I’m comfortable reviewing it. 6’5” 240lbs. Size 12. Started in the 80’s and this is my favorite board to date. Point and shoot whatever line you want and this primate obeys your command. All the marketing points are factual. Sintered base is fast and appreciated. Drive this board aggressively and enjoy!
